Watson Wyatt Worldwide
As graduation is just around the corner, many of my friends and I have been devoting ourselves to finding our next opportunity. Luckily I was able to find an exciting company to work for here in downtown Dallas. The picture is of the Trammell Crow building where I will be spending the next couple of years in the Executive Compensation Division as a Consultant. More and more we are reading the abundant number of articles focused on executive compensation and how CEO and executive salaries are much too high. For example, amid the record oil prices and soaring gasoline costs, Exxon Mobil's former CEO received a $400 million retirement package. The amount seems absurd but then again we have to make sure we do our due diligence and research the company and his dedication to the firm during his tenure. I look forward to learning more about this aspect of the business and will begin in late June!
